My husband and I were able to find the perfect home thanks to Shaun! As first thime home buyers, we started the process knowing nothing other than that we wanted a three bedroom, two bath in a family friendly neighborhood. Shaun guided us every step of the way. He listened closely to our opinions during house hunting, eased our stress and anxieties when we made an offer on our lovely home, and supported us during the inspection and closing processes. He was quick to communicate and always available to answer questions. (We signed our offer paperwork online with him at midnight so we had the best chance of getting our house!) Thanks to Shaun, my husband, newborn daughter, and I can plant our roots in a wonderful community and grow together in a house that is a home.
Shaun began his career in the financial industry as a mortgage broker with the LakeSide Mortgage, Inc. of Charlotte, NC in 2001. Here Shaun advised many clients on specific lending programs that would enable them to purchase or refinance residential properties. Shaun also worked closely with LakeSide Properties. Here he would preview houses on behalf of clients. Working with out of state buyers, Shaun would be responsible for understanding the wants and needs of the client in their search for the next home. It was his responsibility to get a sense of the property to ensure that it met his clients standards and was worthy of them spending the time to come and view the property. In 2004, Shaun had a brief stent in pharmaceutical sales where he worked for one of the top global pharmaceutical companies, Abbott Laboratories, Inc. Shaun transitioned to the merchant services industry with Chase Paymentech in 2007. At Chase Paymentech, Shaun aided with the launch of a healthcare specific bankcard product, A-Claim™. Along with the knowledge of processing needs in healthcare, Shaun has also worked with many small and medium sized companies from every industry to help them find the most cost efficient products and services to meet their needs. From here Shaun stepped out on his own and started Interchange, LLC (now the Boewen Group). Interchange, LLC was created to meet the needs of small business owners with respect to their credit card processing needs. No longer would they be subjected to high rates and fees. Shaun created a One-Stop-Shop for their needs, whether it be software, hardware or transparent, low fees merchant service accounts. Now Shaun finds himself back in the real estate industry, having gained his Florida Real Estate License in 2014, passing the state exam with only one attempt (of more than 5000 FL agents, less than half, 47%, passed on their first attempt) and finds himself off to a fast start with 2 clients under contract in just his first month.
Shaun earned a Bachelor's degree from Erskine College. He continued his academics in pursuit of a Master's degree at Clemson University.
Shaun is active in a number of professional organizations including the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, Business Networking International, Habitat for Humanity and Dreams Come True.
Shaun enjoys golf and coaching high school baseball (Stanton College Prep) in his spare time, as well as, traveling and entertaining friends.
