Tallest Condo Towers Jacksonville FL

Although high-rise living isn’t quite as common in Jacksonville as it is it other cities lining Florida’s scenic coastline, it’s still a unique and desirable option for some condo buyers to consider when looking for a new place to call home.

To some, the views from so many Jacksonville high-rise condos are simply too good to pass up. For others, it’s the appeal of being close to the beach or living right in the heart of downtown Jacksonville that ultimately makes high-rise living the winning choice for them.

Whatever your reasons are for wanting a place high above the city streets, if it’s truly a high-rise condo you’re after during your home search, we recommend taking a closer look at what some of the tallest condo buildings in Jacksonville have to offer below.

The Peninsula on Southbank

Rising 36 stories high, The Peninsula on Southbank is one of Jacksonville’s tallest condo buildings. Finished in 2006, this stately tower sits directly off the St. Johns River, providing a scenic, downtown living experience you won’t find anywhere else. Art galleries, restaurants, cafes, entertainment venues, and professional sports are all just steps from The Peninsula’s location, and the building is also packed with a wide-range of common lifestyle amenities that make living here an absolute delight. Included is a 38th floor amenity lounge and entertainment space and terrace; 24/7 concierge; valet parking; and a separate 9th floor community area with a pool table, poker table, outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool, and a fitness center. Simply put, if you’re looking for a luxurious high-rise living experience, The Peninsula on Southbank provides exactly that.

San Marco Place

Finished in 2007, San Marco Place is a premier Jacksonville condo tower with amazing upside and 141 beautiful condominium residences. Standing 21 stories high, San Marco Place condos for sale feature breathtaking views of the river, as well as downtown Jacksonville’s fast-growing skyline. To help maximize livable square footage, developers included 3 levels of under-building parking at San Marco Place, and other amenities and features at the building include a tennis court and swimming pool on the 4th floor, a fitness center, private residential storage spaces, a billiards and entertainment room, and even 7,300 square feet of retail and office space on the ground level.

Broadview Towers

At just 13 stories, Broadview Towers aren't Jacksonville’s tallest condo towers. But the views you get from just about every single unit here are absolutely incredible thanks to a premium, riverfront location right next to Memorial Park. Floor-to-ceiling windows also help maximize these wonderful views and sight lines, while the building’s impressive collection of lifestyle amenities that include secure garage parking, tennis courts, a fitness center, and a riverfront swimming pool help make this one of Jacksonville’s top high rise condo buildings to call home.

Berkman Plaza

Originally built back in 2003, Berkman Plaza is situated at 400 E. Bay Street and stands 22 stories tall. The tower’s Riverfront location provides easy access to the heart of downtown and provides condo owners with some pretty stunning views of the surrounding cityscape and St. John’s River. We also love Berkman Plaza for its bright, Mediterranean style, and the amenities here are also noteworthy and include a fabulous swimming pool and sun deck, a private parking garage, lush landscaping all over the grounds, and even rooftop tennis courts above the garage.

Marina San Pablo Tower

Although Marina San Pablo Tower rises only 12 stories high, it’s a condo tower that looks and feels much bigger. Built back in 2006, Marina San Pablo Tower houses just 56 condo residences, each with 2 to 4 bedrooms and anywhere from 2,400 to 3,500 square feet of total living space. For most, the building’s biggest selling point is that it is the only luxury high-rise condo tower in Jacksonville with a private marina on the Intracoastal Waterway—a huge bonus for boaters or anyone who loves to be out on the water. Like Berkman Plaza, Marina San Pablo also has a stucco exterior and red tile roof, giving it a distinct Mediterranean/Spanish vibe that works so well in Florida’s gorgeous tropical landscape.
