About The Five Points Neighborhood 

Part of Jacksonville’s Riverside community, the Five Points neighborhood is widely regarded as one of the city’s liveliest and hippest places to live, work, and play. From trendy bars and boutique shops to restaurants and cafes of all kinds, there’s a little something for everyone in the Five Points area, which is only part of what makes it so desirable to many of today’s modern home buyers who appreciate both walkability and accessibility to nearby Downtown Jacksonville. 

If you don’t already know, Five Points is bounded by Stockton Street to the west, I-10 and I-95 to the north, River Boulevard to the South, and the scenic St. Johns Riverfront to the east. With the heart of downtown just a few minutes away and the Avondale and Riverside neighborhoods  right next door, Five Points undoubtedly acts as a gateway of sorts to the absolute best of what Jacksonville has to offer. Additionally, the neighborhood, which is named for an intersection that feeds into five separate streets, is also where you’ll find several of Jacksonville's most-visited amenities and attractions, including Riverside Park, Memorial Park, and the fabulous Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens. 

The Five Points Real Estate Market 

The housing landscape throughout Five Points in Jacksonville is yet another element that helps make this part of the city so unique. In most Jacksonville neighborhoods you might find a collection of properties that are all somewhat similar in terms of style and property type. But in the Five Points neighborhood, prospective home buyers are presented with waterfront high-rises, urban loft buildings, charming bungalows and historic homes, and even some newer construction homes. So as long as you love the walkability and vibrant energy surrounding much of the Five Points area, chances are there’s something that fits your lifestyle needs and wants from a housing standpoint. 

Price-wise, look for smaller bungalows and older homes for sale in Five Points to start around $350,000, with larger homes in the area jumping up to around $800,000 to $1.2 million. Condos in Five Points are generally always in demand, which tends to keep prices on the upper end of Jacksonville’s condo market. Every now and then you might see a nice unit for under $400,000 but the majority of condos in Five Points fall somewhere between $500,000 and $800,000, with some even exceeding $1 million, especially in high-profile condo buildings like VillaRiva.
